The following is a simple do and don't list of how to keep your stone beautiful and looking new for years to come.
For all quartz products, please refer to each manufacturer’s website for instructions on how to care for your stone.
Keep your stone and tile looking great by following some simple precautions. The following section covers some of the most common care regimens.
Many household foods, beverages, and cosmetics can degrade tile grout and damage stone. Common toiletries like perfume, mouthwash and toothpaste, as well as common foods such as orange juice and soft drinks contain acids and other ingredients that can degrade sealers or damage your stone's surface. Whether you have stone slab counters or stone, ceramic, or porcelain tile counters always clean spills up as soon as possible.
If you ever encounter lime buildup around your faucet area it is easily cleaned up using a straight edge razor blade at a 45° angle or #0000 steel wool will take care of it.
DuPont™ Stone Tech® Professional Revitalizer® is avalible at both Lonnie's StoneCrafters and Carpet Max.
